Like a Day Off!

It’s hilarious how your perspective changes.

Today, I ran for 50 minutes and then did my strength training, which takes about 45 minutes. BUT I did not have a swim like I normally do…and that usually adds about another 1:10 of workout to the day.

As a result, it felt like a freaking day off. Amazing. It was like I didn’t know what to do with myself. So I exercised my credit card and bought a new pair of road shoes and various other sundry items including a new pair of Nike Frees, which I really didn’t need but love love love. And then I went home and knocked out a whole ton of yard work that had been bugging me for weeks.

Man, I love the new super efficient Ironman-wanna-be me!
