My good days just keep getting gooder (yes, I know that’s not a proper word, but it’s the right word for right now).
I had a couple of slightly off days towards the beginning of this week but nothing I’d call bad. This thing is really starting to get behind me now. While I think the little things I’ve been doing have helped, the real answer is that probably this is just how long this thing took. I’m looking at a good two-week streak here!
Today was just awesome because I stepped back into coaching with a trail run out at St. Ed’s this morning. Try Zones Training is offering a series of introductory trail runs, which we’re calling “Tri a Trail,” free to their athletes. The whole purpose is to give a taste of different trails and a solid introduction to trail running so that they’ll have this in the ol’ bag of workout tricks. I love coaching this. Really, few things light me up more that sharing this thing I love with someone new. It was a nice bunch of people, and we had fun at the park.
