A Lot of Red Checks

We have finished 11 weeks of Ironman training, and I have not missed a workout.

Well, I did miss the very first “swim/paddle/soak” on a Sunday but I don’t really count that, as it was a habit-building exercise and not a true workout. If you do count it, I haven’t missed a workout since January 20.

Either way, it’s a great streak.

I hope I am not jinxing the streak by mentioning this.

Sobering:  if I have added correctly (always highly iffy), I have worked out for 102 hours and 10 minutes. This does not include strength training or time spent driving to and fro, or preparations, bike shopping, etc. etc.

Whoa. And we are just now getting into the teeth of this thing.
